#41 Darwin


Darwin's theory of natural selection stated that forces caused changes in an organism overtime. He believed that a deer with thick fur would have babies with thick fur because of the inheritance of adaption. He believed variations can be inherited. But, inheritance is given to an offspring because of a parents DNA and chromosome's. The mechanism Darwin needed but did not know about for his theory was a chromosome.
